

Alex, please try Shadeslayer45's suggestion. It is glad to hear that there is a fix to the game crash issue. This is driving me nuts, has anybody had any similar problems and- perhaps- resolved them? If you need to, please ask me any questions about my system.

I have been told that it is very likely a motherboard or driver issue. dmp files anywhere, even after unlocking hidden files. I tried to follow a guide to diagnose a couple of Blue Screens, but I couldn't find the. That said, nothing is unusual apart from when the games has never crashed in windows. I have tested the RAM with Windows Memory Diagnostic and it discovered no problems, but I'm not sure if my RAM is definitely compatible with my motherboard.

In other instances, I get no blue screen at all: when it crashes, it either goes black, freezes or pixallates wildly. I've once had IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, other times HARDWARE ISSUE, other times something totally different. I think that my problems stem from hardware or driver issues, but I don't know what. I believe Windows 7 RC Build 7100 (my OS) has bugs but I don't think it's the cause. My specs are a Gigabyte EP45-UD3LR motherboard, Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400, Geforce GTX 260, 2 x 2GB Kingston HyperX DDR2 RAM, Corsair 650w PSU, Western Digital SATA II + Velociraptor HDD.
